Buying an Ocean Hills Country Club  Home

Steps in buying a home in Ocean Hills Country Club Putting Green – Photo by Gary Harmon

  1. Review the information provided on this website, www.OceanHillsHomes.comCheck out the different floor plans  and decide which plans best fit your needs.  Review  information, available amenities and the OHCC hoa  guidelines.  Review the homes currently available in the “for sale” section.  Decide what type of financing you will use to purchase a home in Ocean Hills Country Club.  Gary can recommend experienced lenders if you need assistance.
  2. Call, text, or email Gary Harmon to schedule your personal tour.  Provide as much notice as possible.  Some Ocean Hills homes cannot be seen without a 24 hour notice to the occupants.  Tell Gary, to the best of your knowledge, what price range and floor plans would fit your needs the best.
  3. Tour Ocean Hills Country Club and ask Gary lots of questions.  If you do not know the answer to anything, please ask.   Review with Gary what is currently available and if it will fit your needs.  Many times it might be best to have Gary set you up a search in the San Diego MLS and to wait until “your opportunity” becomes available.  If you see something you like, write an offer as soon as possible.  Most Ocean Hills Country Club homes sell at or near asking price.  If they are in special condition or have great locations, they usually sell with days of listing.
  4. To submit an offer on an Ocean Hills home, you must prove you have the financing.  Gary will need to send your proof of down payment and a pre-qualification letter for a loan along with your offer to the listing agent.  Offers can be written in Gary’s nearby office or completed by email.  Remember with an offer, time is always of essence.

If you follow the above steps, you will be successful in purchasing in Ocean Hills Country Club.
