Architectrual Changes

I am constantly being ask by prospective Ocean Hills Homes buyers if you are allowed to make changes to your landscaping or home in Ocean Hills Country Club.  The answer is yes, but you will need to go through the appropriate steps.

Application Forms: Forms and other necessary informaion can be obtained at the HOA office.

Application Procedures:  You must submit a descriptive plan showing exactly what you want to do including the following where applicable:

  • Plot plan
  • Property lines
  • Dimensions
  • Cross sections & elevations
  • Types of materials you will use including color
  • Location of bark, rock, and raised planters
  • Location of irrigation and drains
  • Plant listings and loceation
  • Existing improvements

Deposit Required:  You must post a refundable security deposit with your application.

Inspection Fee:  An inspection fee is charged for an inspection by an independent service.  If a second inspection is required, there could be a second fee.

Association’s Review is Limited:  The ARC (Arcitectual Review Committee) and its inspection is limited to the considerations set forth in the CC&R’s.  The Ocean Hills homeowner is still responsible for compliance with the building code, structural safety, or any other design or safety standards.
